Me at 23 weeks. There's a lot wrong with this picture. Yep, I'm getting bigger but so is my butt, face and hair. I got a haircut yesterday in the hopes of remedying the fro. We'll see if it truly helps though. I'm truly gaining all over. Thanks Stella. Actually if you are around me on a daily basis you know this actually doesn't bother me that much because I eat a lot! I have been SOOO hungry! I think it's because I was underweight when I started my pregnancy. Ha, no way is that true.
I'm really enjoying pregnancy. Eating is fun. Different clothes are fun. And I have a whole new respect for bigger folks. I had no idea how just a little bit of weight can make it hard to roll over in bed at night or get up out of a chair. Okay, let's be honest, I've gained 21 pounds since last I visited the Doctor. 6 of those pounds in the last 2 weeks! YIKES! Did I mention that I've been hungry? Stella is weighing in at 1lb 3 ounces, slightly higher than the average child at this stage.
I am exercising. I walk on the treadmill and do this fun/lame workout video at least 3 times a week. What video is this? You Having a Baby Workout. It's really fabulous but the instructor is male and has these insanely small shorts on. I'm totally convinced his junk is going to come out at any second. I can't take a good screenshot of this granola man but trust me, it's lame. The workout is awesome though and I recommend the DVD to anyone pregnant. One thing I love is that there's a different workout based on what trimester you're in. I start the third trimester tomorrow and can't believe I'm this far along!
Don't judge my picture on this DVD. I don't do the DVD religiously and I'm also not following a strict pregnancy diet unless eating whatever you want is a strict pregnancy diet.

You look fabulous! If it makes you feel any better, I gained 90lbs, 60lbs, and 45lbs respectively in my pregnancies! Even the 90lbs were gone before she was 1! :) And I love the name and house!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are precious. Cannot wait to see you soon!!
ReplyDeleteYou look great!! ALl my stretchmarks (the first time around) were in my lower back/upper butt. I realized I had a big butt when John and I were on our honeymoon and a Jamaican guy called me J Lo....oh well :)
ReplyDeleteYou look awesome! Lady - you still have cheekbones and a jawline so in my mind, you cannot say anything about weight gain! I gained 40 lbs with Jack and it was all in the face (my boobs seemed to have missed the memo). My flippin nose got fat for crying out loud. Love love love the name by the way :) Hooray for Baby Stella!
